What Made You Want to Become A Yoga Teacher? Here's What Caitlin Says...

Caitlin Keyes is a student in our 230-hour Yoga Teacher Training. In this teacher training program, Caitlin has experienced shifts and personal growth she never experienced from elsewhere. Hear Caitlin shares her yoga journey and thoughts on the program.

What made you want to study Yoga and become a teacher?

I was going through a tough time and my yoga practice was helping me to get through it, so I wanted to study yoga to go deeper to really reinforce all these practices in my life and learn to help others do the same along the way.

What do you think of the curriculum?

I really enjoy the curriculum, particularly the philosophies. It gives you a taste of quite a few different philosophies and practices and opens the door for you to dive deeper into what resonates with you.

Were there any challenges in the program?

One of the challenges I've had throughout the program is reminding myself to let go of perfectionism and not be so hard on myself when I make mistakes.

What do you enjoy the most about the program?

My favourite part of the program has definitely been the group of girls and teachers I get to spend my weekends learning, laughing (sometimes crying) and connecting with. We are all so different from each other and it has been such a cool experience to get to hear and learn from so many different points of views and ways of doing things. I am so grateful to have met them all!
